Recorded live at the 7th Annual Pickfest, October 12, 2013. After several days of drenching constant rains and floods, with forecasts of continuing rain, the clouds parted and the sun shone all day on a happy crowd of families and friends and music-lovers in Frecon's Orchards outside Boyertown, PA. The orchards were dripping only with big sweet juicy crisp apples and a good time was had by all. There was even a marriage proposal sung by a surprise guest on the stage! (She accepted) Kids were jumping, hay was thrown, fruit was picked, barbecue was eaten and hard cider was drunk. The musical entertainment included 9 bands and was quite possibly the best lineup yet. This set features the host Manatawny Creek Ramblers:
Daniel Bower (guitar), Brad Hinton (dobro), Josh Sceurman (bass), Ted Fenstermacher (fiddle), Ike Sheldon (banjo), and Bob Beach (harmonica).
The sound was managed by Chris Bauer. This recording was made directly to stereo from the PA by Matthew G, using a Korg D16 digital studio.
